Overview
AEON backwings are available in DNA-H (hard) only — for maximum stability and control in all conditions. The special profile and shape allow the use of low angles of attack on the stabilizers without losing control or flight stability. The whole foil system works as one: backwings are carefully finetuned to work best with AEON fuselage shapes and frontwings. Ultra thin and ultra stiff in DNA-H construction with special low-mount for extended flight range and unmatched cornering speed and acceleration.

Construction
To protect the advantage of having the stiffest and thinnest parts, construction secrets used for the AEON backwings won't be named. All foil parts use TX40 screw heads. The backwing is mounted with two M6 bolts.
Sanding & Warranty: All AEON carbon parts have a clear coat factory finish that seals the carbon layers. Sanding off this coating — partially or completely — voids the product warranty and is fully at the rider's own risk. There is no general need to extensively sand AEON parts. Only do so if you're 100% sure about what you're doing and why.
Concept
Design Goals. The target was to create high-performance foils with full compatibility across all foiling sports and disciplines — from the "whatever-it-takes world cup level" to more price-sensitive customers. The AEON has been designed for maximum control, easing the challenge of mastering 3-dimensional flight for both the skilled world cup rider and the intermediate. One connection system for wind-, wing-, prone- and kite-foiling is a massive economic advantage for multi-sport users.
Man vs. Machine. The massive success of the AEON in both Windsurfing and Wing-Foiling is the result of the PATRIK R&D crew's precise and hard work. Products are developed in a unique hybrid process where the human brain (knowledge) and hands (feeling) clearly lead the computer-aided design — not the other way around. Fun fact: CFD programs are fed with data based on past practical tests and can never calculate completely new results outside their given data range. The PATRIK crew develops and tests gear outside that software range — and the results later update those programs.
