95 DIM-S: No-compromise comp slalom mast — the thinnest, narrowest and stiffest flex/twist currently used on the world cup scene.
95 DIM-M: Same outline as DIM-XL. Slightly thicker and wider for a more comfortable ride than DIM-S. Budget-friendly alternative to the 95 DIM-S.
100 DIM-L: Narrower outline than DIM-M and DIM-XL. Made for ultimate course racing competition performance without compromise.
100 DIM-XL: Same outline as DIM-M but 50 mm longer at the head. Slightly thicker and wider than DIM-L. Budget alternative to the DIM-L.
Mast outline: Wide at the base with an extended front "nose" for added stiffness and less twist. The leading edge is moved forward to compensate for extensive mast rake — resulting in a more balanced and effective fuselage position. Narrow chord and thin profile at the fuselage to minimise drag and turbulence. Extra narrow chord for the DIM-S PWA slalom mast.
Construction
Construction secrets are protected. As the only brand in the history of windsurfing able to successfully produce hollow boards in more than 20 sizes (AirInside), PATRIK's composite know-how is literally miles ahead of competitor brands. AEON foil constructions lead the industry again — thinnest and most high-aspect designs with the stiffest flex-vs-twist ratio.
All foil parts use TX30 M6 and M8 screw heads. The mast uses M6 screws to additionally secure the fuselage connection. Flat Head Deep Tuttle Box head with standard M6 inserts. A cut line is marked on the mast head to adapt to boards using the angled tuttle box system.
Sanding & Warranty: All AEON carbon parts have a clear coat factory finish that seals the carbon layers. Sanding off this coating — partially or completely — voids the product warranty and is fully at the rider's own risk. There is no general need to sand AEON parts. Only do so if 100% sure of what and why.
Board/Box Mounting — 10 rules: 1) Never sand the foil mast head — sand the box carefully if needed. 2) Use professional shims to adjust mast rake. 3) Press the mast in firmly and slide front to rear. 4) Use a metal shim or monofilm if the foil sits too loose. 5) Use screws that go fully into the inserts with large washers. 6) Don't use screws to pull the foil into the box — slide it in manually. 7) On some boards it may be necessary to widen tuttle box holes with a file. 8) Use a digital level to control rake and retighten screws after a short first run. 9) Never reuse bent screws. 10) Take enough time — never rush first-time mounting.
Concept
Design Goals. High-performance foils with full compatibility across all foiling sports — from the "whatever-it-takes world cup level" to more price-sensitive customers. One connection system for wind-, wing-, prone- and kite-foiling. Maximum control in 3D flight for both world cup riders and intermediates.
Man vs. Machine. The human brain and hands clearly lead the computer-aided design — not the other way around. Fun fact: CFD programs can never calculate completely new results outside their given data range. The PATRIK crew develops and tests gear outside that software range — and the results later update those programs.
Single Parts vs. Sets. All parts available separately for magic custom setups, or as pre-configured sets for the best budget combo.
