The new X:Wave HD is based on the 2018 Combat design. Same great shape, slightly more power, better early planing and performance to suit all levels of rider and a wider variety of conditions. The X:Wave HD comes with a longer boom to offer more speed, power and stability and deeper shaping in the bottom 2 battens to further enhance these benefits. Extremely comfortable handling with all the juice you need to get out over the whitewater and make the most of challenging conditions, but still light in the hands and fantastically maneuverable. Ideal for use in all kinds of wave sailing conditions around the globe.

DESIGNER'S COMMENTS
The X:Wave HD is built using classic industry standard sail construction, leaving out some of the premium features of our CORE:Series of sails, but with the full heritage of Neilpryde’s design knowledge going into the shapes. This allows us not to compromise on performance but to bring a more accessible sail to the market.
We put a lot of effort into the development of this new sail and the entire X:Series, that’s why we are convinced that they will work perfectly for years to come.
We developed a sail which works for everybody in every type of wave conditions, hence why it’s slightly more powerful. A large tuning range, thanks to a stable profile, allows the rider to trim the sail for all conditions, and allows both light and heavier sailors to be able to get the most out of this sail. Suitable for all sizes of wave boards and freestyle/wave boards.
ArmourWeb is constructed from full polyester lines at +/-40 degrees, creating an interlaced, woven web for high tear resistance. Available on Fusion / Ryde / Speedster / V8 / Dragonfly.
Moderate Compact Clew for a compact outline with rider focused surface area and improved sail twist.
Double stitching is used on all critical seams on all sails allowing them to endure prolonged exposure to high loads and impacts.

Jak ve vývoji plachet pro windsurfing, tak ve vývoji vodního oblečení a doplňků vyrobených pro Wind-Watersports, NEILPRYDE vybudoval dědictví v posledních desetiletích a pokračuje v tom. Společnost NEILPRYDE, založená na vášni pro plachtění, nezaložil nikdo menší než muž jménem Neil Pryde – vášnivý námořník, který založil svou firmu na vývoj jachtařských plachetnic. Na začátku 70. let se rozhodl změnit své podnikání a zaměřit se na výrobu plachet pro trendy a nadcházející sporty windsurfing. Zatímco zpočátku ještě vyráběl plachty pro jiné značky, brzy se rozhodl založit vlastní značku windsurfingových plachet, což znamenalo začátek NEILPRYDE Windsurfingu.
