YOUNG GUN – AIR

Awesome handling advantages:
It can be rolled up and fits into the backpack it comes with – no more need for a roof rack for transport and no big garage for storage.
It is also considerably lighter than any hardboard of this size. For paddling you could even take it in the backpack to the beach with your bike.

The high tech drop stitch technology makes it so stiff that you will easily get it gliding but the surface itself is so soft that you won’t hurt yourself when falling on it.
Instead of a daggerboard, the additional center fin provides directional stability to reduce side drift and helps to go upwind.
Being longer than the normal Young Guns also helps with going upwind due to its longer waterline length.

This board offers so much fun and is a great kids toy.

DOUBLE HEEL PADS

ULTIMATE WAVE, WAVE SLATE, YOUNG GUN RADICAL THRUSTER QUAD 6 + 4 mm = 10mm pads in the heel area. Great shock absorbing effect - very comfortable. Your heels are higher on the board for more power and control on your forefoot. Initiating turns is really easy.

DOUBLE COMFORT PADS

FREESTYLE WAVE, FREESTYLE, SUPER RIDE, MAGIC RIDE, SUPER SPORT, SUPER LIGHTWIND, YOUNG GUN FREESTYLE 6 + 4 mm = 10mm pads in the actual standing area provide unbelievable shock absorption and comfort.

SET-UP A

The set-up for the very first hours and days. The bigger fin in front and the smaller fin in the rear make the board very stable and still easy to turn for the first tacks and jibes.
There are no straps on the board yet.

SET-UP B

After the first few days the Youngsters want to experience real windsurfing - planing. The smaller fin in the front still gives some stability while the bigger fin in the rear gets the board planing early and easy. It is now also time to get into the straps.

SET-UP C

Soon, stability is not such an issue anymore. Now it is time to fill the front powerbox with the power base and put the bigger fin in the rear.

When the Youngster is used to this fin set-up he can consider moving to strap set-up C (straps further back, single strap in the rear and the two front straps closer together).

SET-UP D

The real Young Guns will consider first freestyle moves shortly after they reached level or set-up C. When they are ready for that it is time to put the smaller fin into the rear powerbox to increase the maneuverability.

It is now the Youngster's choice, if she or he wants to leave the straps in the more freestyle oriented strap set-up C or if they go for the performance oriented strap set-up D (double rear strap, front strap closer to the rail).

The strap set up D obviously can also be used with the bigger fin in the rear (fin set up C), when focusing on planing.
