Wider batten layout on the lower sail area allows a softer, and forgiving handling under power up conditions.	Tighter batten layout through the upper sail area provides greater stability.	Flatter battens: depowers the sail easily and results in a lighter feeling.
Wide Wind Range: A large tuning range, thanks to a stable profile, allows the rider to trim the sail for all conditions.	Versatile: Moderate and progressive luff curve for optimum maneuverability, speed and power in both onshore and side-shore conditions.	Fuse Pocket construction for a fully symmetrical batten cavity.
Construction: Available in both clear and HD window.		4 batten configuration:in all sizes.

DESIGNER'S COMMENTS

We keep the overall shape of the sail and we add a new batten layout making the sail more stable, with less back-hand pressure to maintain drive and upwind performance. The Fuse Pocket construction in the wave and freestyle CORE:Series program allows us to reduce the seam shaping and retain power with a much lighter feeling in the hands. A large tuning range, thanks to a stable profile, allows the rider to trim the sail for all conditions. In parallel, the Powerfuse allows us to reduce weight while increasing strength in critical sections making the Combat stronger than ever.

High-strength rip-stop grid made of high-tenacity ULTRA yarns at +/-40 degrees. This yarn has a similar breaking strength to KevlarTM, but much better UV resistance. Available on Fly / Combat / Atlas / Wizard.

Overlapping body panels create a sleeve for battens, eliminating the need for traditional, separate batten pockets. This saves on unnecessary weight, simplifies construction and creates a fully symmetrical batten cavity, delivering a fully equal sail on both tacks.

Moderate Compact Clew for a compact outline with rider focused surface area and improved sail twist.

Powerfuse is a whole new way to reinforce and lighten the sail body by using an innovative material fusion method. Doing away with unnecessary patch reinforcements, seams and stitches, we created fully integrated, laminated panels of variable thickness that support localised loads and strengthen the sail where it needs it most.

Double stitching is used on all critical seams on all sails allowing them to endure prolonged exposure to high loads and impacts.

Jak ve vývoji plachet pro windsurfing, tak ve vývoji vodního oblečení a doplňků vyrobených pro Wind-Watersports, NEILPRYDE vybudoval dědictví v posledních desetiletích a pokračuje v tom. Společnost NEILPRYDE, založená na vášni pro plachtění, nezaložil nikdo menší než muž jménem Neil Pryde – vášnivý námořník, který založil svou firmu na vývoj jachtařských plachetnic. Na začátku 70. let se rozhodl změnit své podnikání a zaměřit se na výrobu plachet pro trendy a nadcházející sporty windsurfing. Zatímco zpočátku ještě vyráběl plachty pro jiné značky, brzy se rozhodl založit vlastní značku windsurfingových plachet, což znamenalo začátek NEILPRYDE Windsurfingu.
